Most of you who know me, know I don't like bananas. At all. I'll peal one for Ethan, but that's about as much as I'll do with them. Saw an interesting article over at the Economist about them:

Interesting to note how economics can drive out genetic diversity, not unlike the hoof problems Thoroughbreds are experiences (witness Big Brown and his bid for the Triple Crown).
